Silvia Cherneva

Silvia came to dance from a background in architecture. In 2019 she completed a Masters in Contemporary Dance at the London Contemporary Dance School, where she recognised cinema as a crosspoint between space, movement and rhythm.

She currently explores cinematography and editing as choreographic practices and attempts to foreground the 'dance' in everyday situations and documentary stories. She enjoys practising martial arts, capoeira, various styles of hip-hop and authentic jazz dance.

Silvia is the author of the dance films Yacht Swing Club, Michael и TORRENT.
