Lefteris is a writer/director and photographer based in London. His short film Latent was selected by more than 25 film festivals around the globe and is now distributed by Shorts International.

He is a BAFTA NETWORK x BAFTA Crew participant and a Script Supervisor whose credits include multiple award-winning productions in the UK, USA and Greece, over the last decade. Lefteris has completed an MA in Filmmaking, specialising in Directing at Goldsmiths, University of London. He also studied Theatre at the University of Athens and Trinity College, in Dublin. He is a keen volunteer and has traveled extensively with NGOs in India, Iceland and Japan.

His experience living, working and studying in different parts of the world led him to discover psychogeography and enhanced his interest in the subjects of heritage and identity. Challenging the notion of being a citizen of the world against the desperate need to belong, Lefteris explores the ideas of home, memory and abandonment.
